Four Year Prospects for Community College Students
(AP) Northern MN colleges and universities are forming an alliance to better serve area students.
The idea is more collaboration, and less competition among the schools.
Two years schools such as Central Lakes College in Brainerd and Staples want to bring the opportunity for four-year degrees to their communities. Community college students could go to centers established on campus to get information about bachelor's degrees and take some four-year classes.
