Perham BB Player Getting Better

(AP)  A Perham High School basketball player is on the mend.

Doctors at the University of Minnesota Medical Center says 17-year-old Zach Gabbard's heart has fully recovered, and is close to be discharged.

Gabbard collapsed during a game in Glyndon January 20th. 

A fundraiser for the Gabbard family will be held Sunday in New Hope.
