Obamacare Anniversary Draws Praise & Ire
Top Minnesota DFL-ers are marking the first anniversary of federal health care overhaul with praise.
Senator Al Franken, Representatives Betty McCullum and Keith Ellison will join Minnesota Health Commissioner Ed Ehlinger for a news conference.
Survivors of cancer, AIDS and other diseases will share their stories.
However, the political rift the reform has created continues.
8th District Congressman Chip Cravaack released a statement claiming, "Obamacare puts government between doctors and patients," even though there is no government option, and all insurance is administered by the private sector. The freshman Republican goes on to say the legislation "Is harmful to job creating entrepreneurs and small business owners, and has been ruled unconstitutional in (some) federal courts."
1 Comments:
Chip is a moron ruled by corporate drug companies and overpriced healthcare services.
