Two Charged in Brainerd Beating

 (AP)  What appears to be a racially motivated attack in Brainerd over the weekend has left a black man hospitalized with severe injuries.
Police say an employee at a local bar overheard two men discussing the attack of Willie Navy because he is black.   The man was found on the sidewalk early Sunday morning nearly incoherent.  He is hospitalized in stable condition after being hit and kicked in the head.  Navy is reportedly in danger of losing his eye sight.

Police grabbed the two suspects in a near-by residence following the attack.  Lucas Eastwood is charged with assault and kidnapping, Travis Campbell is charged with assault.
