Little Falls Man Shot by Police

A stand-off with lawmen in Morrison County late last week has ended in a death. 

County deputies and Little Falls Police officers responded to report of a suicidal man.  They caught up with him as he was driving away from an acquaintance home in north east Little Falls early Thursday morning.  He pulled into a neighboring driveway and got out of his car brandishing a shotgun.  He was ordered to drop the weapon.  When he didn't they opened fire. 

The 37-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.  His name has not been released.
