Lumberjack Dies in Area Accident

(AP)  A logging accident Thursday morning has claimed the life of a Sebeka man.  Authorities say he was struck by a tree he was cutting down in the Pillsbury State Forest north of Pillager around 9:30 a.m. 

The man was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.  His name has not been released pending notification of relatives.

The accident remains under investigation.
