Pine River Sailor Helps in Pakistan Relief

Navy Airman Recruit Brady W. Hopkins, Pine River,alongside 2, 800 sailors, conducted their first humanitarian and relief missions while on a regularly scheduled deployment aboard USS Peleliu.


As Pakistan continues to combat floods from monsoon rains that flooded the region displacing millions of people, the USS Peleliu assisted by dispatching several Marine helicopters which transferred up to 16 tons of food and supplies at a time.
