Improvements for the Brainerd Airport

The Brainerd Airport is getting $7 million for improvements. 

The project will rehabilitate the airport’s terminal building to provide greater space for screened passengers and a baggage screening area, as well as construct a jet bridge for easier boarding access.

Minnesota Congressman Jim Oberstar says it is important the Brainerd Airport is modern and up to date.   He says, “Travelers shouldn’t have to be exposed to the elements when they board and deplane from their aircraft.”
