Wadena-DC Schools to Open On Time
(AP) The Wadena-Deer Creek school will open on time in September, despite the June 17th tornado that devastated the school.
The school district says the 7th and 8th grade students will use a school ten miles away that had been previously closed.
The high school students will split their time between the elementary school and community college.
The district offices will relocate into the headstart building.
The district plans to have the damaged building leveled and new facilities in place for the 2012-13 school year. The district is still negotiating with the insurance company.
