Wadena Clean-Up A Success

Wadena has made good progress since the tornado struck two weeks ago. 

Spokesperson Judy Jacobs says they plan to close the city's volunteer center located at the old Pamida location.  Beginning at 5 p.m. today, the city will no longer accept walk-in volunteers.  She says they have completed most of the general cleanup work. 

Jacobs says they averaged about 400 volunteers a day to deal with the mass of twisted trees and damaged structures.
