Cass Lake Man Injured in Shooting

According to Tom Burch, Chief Deputy at the Cass County Sheriff's Office a 31-year old man, indentified as Amos Ervin Laduke of Cass Lake was injured by gunfire Thursday afternoon near Tract 34 in the Cass Lake area. He was taken by air ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth. In custody is 22-year old William Earl Morris of Cass Lake. He's being held in the Cass County Jail pending formal charges. The incident is under investigation.
