Brainerd Power Back On

About 50% of Brainerd, including the central business district, was with out power for a time this morning. Brainerd Public Utilities Superintendent Tom Phelps tells KLKS News, there was a problem with the main substation.

Apparently, a main breaker failed. It has been bypassed until they can figure out why it failed.

Phelps says the outage lasted about a half hour from 9:05 to 9:35 a.m.
