Drivers Urged to Use Care In Storm

"Travel with care" are operative words as a major snow storm bears down on the Brainerd Lakes Area for the Christmas weekend. District 3 MN-DOT Maintenance Supervisor Tom Wyrk tells KLKS News, the biggest mistake motorists make is driving too fast for existing conditions. He says holiday travelers may have to move their travel plans up to today, or after Christmas to avoid travel hazards.

Wryk says motorists who travel in the storm may pass plows on double lane highways, but should do so with care.
