The Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin has Joined Lakewood Health in Staples in restricting visitors to its hospital because of H1N1 swine flu.
Those experiencing flu-like symptoms of a cough, fever, or sore throat, or who have household members sick with the flu, are asked NOT to visit hospital patients.
Hospital visitors will be limited to a patient's immediate family members who are 18 or older, with only 2 visitors per patient.
Compassionate exceptions will apply on a case-by-case basis.
