Several area school boards are holding elections today. Brainerd School District 181 and Staples-Motley will be electing school board members. Aitkin and Wadena-Deer Creek will be be casting ballots on operating levy referendums.
Crow Wing County Deputy Auditor Stella Hegg says voter turn-out in school board elections is only about 8-10 percent.
Hegg says the polls will be open between noon and 8 p.m. today. She says voters can learn where they vote by calling the Auditor's office or on line with the Secretary of State.
