Good Eatin' at Mille Lacs

(AP) The students at the Nay Ah Shing Schools on the Mille Lacs Ojibwe reservation are learning the value of cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes and other veggies.

The garden was planted last spring, was tended by day care kids this summer, and will be used in student's lunches and nutritional programs when they get back to school this fall.

Community members and businesses have all helped the project.
