Small MN Cities Focus on Cuts

(AP) Brainerd will be the site of a gathering of the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities who are grappling with the impact of state aid cuts and declining property values. Seventy-seven cities make up the coalition which is meeting through Friday.

They will considering what to do about the $200 million in local government cuts ordered by Governor Tim Pawlenty to balance the state budget.
