Minnesota Deer Opener Saturday

The firearms season for white tail deer opens Saturday. Last Saturday it was nice and warm, this Saturday is expected to be something entirely different. Area Wildlife Supervisor Gary Drotts tells KLKS News, the law dictates the opener is the Saturday closest to November 3rd or 9th. In this case it was this Saturday the 8th. He says while it would have been pleasant sitting a deer stand last Saturday, there most likely would not have been a lot of deer movement, which is more likely this cold weekend.
The Season opens a half hour before sunrise Saturday.
