Sheriff Dahl Predicts Tough Budgets

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl is worried that state revenue shortfalls will mean future budget cuts in his department. Part of county revenues come from Local Government aid. He tells KLKS News, he is looking for revenues in unlikely places to fund local law enforcement.
Sheriff Dahl says it would cost a lot less if they could predict crime, but unfortunately, they cannot. He says he was elected to provide a response, and somehow, he will do that.
