9th Annual Pequot-Breezy Clean-up

Heaps of old tires, appliances and general junk were collected at the 9th annual Pequot Lakes-Breezy Point Clean up, Saturday at the Pequot Lakes High School. The event was hosted by the area Lions club. It had originally been scheduled for late April, but had to be rescheduled due to a late season snow storm. The results of Saturday's clean-up were hauled off to the Crow Wing County dump for recycling or landfill. Helping with the heavy lifting were High School students and Sentence to Serve inmates from the Crow Wing County Jail. Profits from the clean-up will be used to fund Lions projects.
