COMBAT VET OPENINGS FOR PROJECT NEW HOPE WEEKEND

Pequot Lakes Lion Bruce Billington said there are still openings for the next Project New Hope weekend, March 14-16th. The weekends are an opportunity for combat veterans to get away for a relaxing and emotionally restoring mini-vacation. Billington said he's also looking for volunteer help for the weekend to help veterans and their families check in, look around Camp New Hope near McGregor, set appointments and act as a friendly face.
