Hecker Wants Out

(AP)  Prosecutors want fallen auto dealer Denny Hecker to stay in lock-up until his sentencing.

Hecker, who owned dealerships across Minnesota, including two in Baxter, filed a motion to be released until final judgement.  However, prosecutors say Hecker has no impulse control, is a flight risk, and is an economic threat to the community.  The hearing on his requested release will be held next week.

Prosecutors say they will ask for a maximum 10 year sentence.
