Wadena Fundraiser Sunday

The tornado stricken town of Wadena will benefit from a fundraiser at the Medina Entertainment Center in the western Twins Cities Suburb this weekend.

The Wadena Relief Benefit will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.  Music will come from the White Iron Band and Backseat Boogie Band.

A silent auction will be held featuring a football signed by Vikings defensive end Jared Allen and a hockey stick signed by the Minnesota Wild team.  Tickets are $40 at the door.

All proceeds will benefit the town which was devastated by a June 17th tornado.  The twister destroyed more than 260 structures including the high school.
