Oktoberfest at the Arb

The Northland Arboretum of Brainerd holds its first annual Oktoberfest Celebration from 5:00-8:00 p.m. this evening.

Spokesperson Becky Eckelman tells KLKS News, there are two parts to the festival.  The first is beer sampling.  The second part is a hammerschlagen contest, in which participants must try to beat a nail into a log using the wrong side of a bricklayer's hammer. 

Tickets for the event are $15 and are available at the door.
