Minnesota Congressman James Oberstar continues to attract big dollars to his reelection campaign. In the latest federal filing, the 8th District DFL-er was sitting on $1.2 million.
However, Oberstar's war fund is dwarfed by Republican Representative Michele Bachmann's fundraising efforts. The controversial lawmaker has piled up $2.3-million. Her DFL opponent, State Senator Tarryl Clark has collected $910 thousand.
