Crow Wing Feeders has agreed to pay $15,000 for alleged feedlot violations at its cattle feedlot in Cass County. Inspectors with the MPCA reported a number of violations in December. Inspection reports say the company failed to obtain required permits for certain construction and expansion.
Inspectors say Crow Wing expanded to near 27-hundred head of cattle. As part of the settlement, the company must limit the number of cattle to its current registered number of 840.
