Good Bye to Mild September

September will go into the record books as one of the most pleasant in recent memory, according to K-Lakes Meteorologist Tony Schumacher. He says the month averaged about seven degrees above normal. Unfortunately, with all the sunshine, there was two and a half inch rain deficit.

Schumaker says the southern third should see relief from the lack of rain through this weekend. He says the rain maker may be hard pressed to make it this far north.
