New MN Outdoors Projects

(AP) Soon we will seen the results of the voter approved increase in the Minnesota sales tax for outdoors and cultural projects.

A committee of the Minnesota State House will look at projects ranging from preserving large tracts of forest near Grand Rapids to youth museum visits. The Governor and legislature approved $400-million for habitat, water, park and arts projects for the next two years.

Taxpayers will be able to follow the spending on a web site.
