Traffic and Speeds Pick Up

Lower gasoline prices have resulted in more cars on the road, according to Sergent Curt Mowers of the Brainerd office of the Minnesota State Patrol. He tells KLKS News, motorists, who had been driving slower to conserve expensive fuel, are now stepping it down once again. Mowers had been hoping for fatality counts to return to world war two levels, but that is jeopardized by increased speeds.
